All we care about is helping you feel better.

HealthWorks Family Chiropractic (originally Taylor Family Chiropractic) was founded in 2006 by Dr. Jennifer Taylor and has always been based on a true passion about the health of our community. Dr. Taylor had one goal in mind: to offer unparalleled non-surgical, non-drug, chiropractic and wellness care for North Texas.

Our HealthWorks doctors use the most precise and objective diagnostics and goal-oriented customized care (with a special upper cervical chiropractic technique called Orthospinology) delivered in a community atmosphere to help our patients recover their health and keep it long-term.

Every member of our team truly cares for our patients, and you will be able to tell the HealthWorks difference from the moment you walk in our front door.

Pain is draining.

We know how discouraging health problems can be. And when there is no solution in sight? They can become devastating.

But with enough digging, the root of every problem can be found. We trace symptoms back to their source with a comprehensive F3 (full-body) exam. Once we uncover the culprit of your pain, we’ll determine lasting solutions so you can get back to feeling your best.

You deserve a solution,
so we don’t stop until we find one.

I’ve always believed that there is no such thing as coincidences in life. Finding my passion for helping others through chiropractic care was no different. Each step in my life has brought me to where I am today; helping my community to become happier, healthier and live to their fullest potential!

In 1991 I had just graduated from high school and was truly disillusioned with my studies at The University of Houston. As many high school graduates feel, I just didn’t have a clue what I wanted to be when I grew up. I thought it was a good idea to take some time off to determine what direction I needed to go. Well, my father didn’t share my enthusiasm. So, I headed out to find a full-time job while on my “break.”…

Little did I know that this decision would soon reveal itself through the life and health changes I witnessed and experienced while working as a Chiropractic Assistant.
While working in that role, I wanted to further my studies in natural healing and in 1995 I concluded my studies in massage therapy. I then started a thriving massage practice in Austin, Texas and worked closely with area chiropractors. However, in 1997, after seeing so many patients regain their life and health through upper cervical chiropractic care, I realized that I needed to do more.

I began my studies at Parker College of Chiropractic in January of 2001. I was truly humbled every day by how miraculous the human body is and how powerful it can be when the nervous system is functioning optimally. I graduated in January 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Since graduation, I married my sweetheart, Ron and have two beautiful children—who are not so little anymore. As a family, we are committed to a wellness lifestyle. We do this through chiropractic care, sourcing real food from local sources and even partner with medical doctors and dentists that practice using a more holistic approach for our other healthcare needs.

My most recent journey has been an academic one. I embarked on a 3-year program, starting in 2016. My training included becoming certified in Orthospinology, the specific upper cervical technique utilized at HealthWorks, and March of 2019, I completed my Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP), a 3-year course with in-depth studies of the upper cervical spine that was awarded through The International Chiropractic Association Upper Cervical Council.

I have also recently been honored with a 3-year Directorship in the ICA Upper Cervical Council, and serving on the Advisory Council on my technique board, Chiropractic Orthospinology and a featured speaker at my annual Orthospinology Symposiums.

What does all that mean? That means that HealthWorks is committed to serving our community with the most up-to-date, training to help support even the most severe of cases, especially those with chronic migraines, vertigo, dizziness and even those that are still suffering from post-concussive headaches and other biomechanical and/or neuro-physiological reflections that may be related to the upper cervical spine.

This brings me to a special invitation:
Conditions like headaches, migraines, dizziness, neck pain, low back pain, are the body’s way of saying something is wrong. If left untreated they can lead to chronic and severe pain.

Our schedule fills up quickly and we only have room on the appointment books for a limited number of new patients each month. Call us today before the symptoms worsen and spots are all taken.

I believe the most important thing you can actually control in life is your HEALTH. Health is a fairly broad term right? Emotional health, mental health, physical health, etc. As a chiropractor I’ve learned that all facets of health have their own unique impact. How they all intertwine and affect us on an individual level is fascinating! But I didn’t always know about HEALTH and this was my journey…

In the fall of 2007 I started college at Missouri Southern State University (yup! I’m originally from Missouri!). When I first talked to my advisor I told him I wanted to be an animal chiropractor. He said ok let’s put that on the back burner and take a look at some other options that will make you actual money. I took him at his word and continued in school as a Pre-Med Biology major with a minor in Chemistry. As my time at school went on I still didn’t know what I wanted to do.

In 2010 I signed up for a program that had college students shadow different physicians, nurses, dentists, etc. at a free clinic. I thought surely I could find what I wanted to do here! I followed several practitioners and was told on multiple occasions to become a dentist because that’s what pays best! Well I’ve never been interested in what pays best but in what interests me the most. One day I was assigned to the chiropractor at the free clinic. I had no idea what chiropractors ACTUALLY did even though I had wanted to be one to animals. So at 19 years old I had my first adjustment…

This one seemingly insignificant moment changed my whole life. I felt a massive pressure release in what felt like my brain that I had no idea was there. I was absolutely amazed and couldn’t believe that moving bones or joints could have this kind of effect. I had to know more. So I asked him if he had any job openings… it turned out he did!

I worked in his office a full year at the front desk before attending chiropractic school myself. The stories I heard from patients were astonishing!

But there was so much more to chiropractic…

In January 2012 I started at Texas Chiropractic College in Houston. As I went through school I learned about actual HEALTH. I realized chiropractic was all encompassing. We were training to treat people as a whole person and not just their symptoms. This was more in depth than I ever imagined! The more I learned the more interested I became in treating people instead of animals (not that I won’t treat animals because I absolutely adore animals!).

Graduation rolled around in April 2015. I wasn’t sure how I wanted to practice, there were so many options! I started working as a chiropractor first in Asheville, North Carolina where I learned how to move quickly and see a high volume of patients. After NC I practiced in St Thomas, Virgin Islands in a private practice with a husband and wife team. I learned I did not like island living! I moved back to the states and worked in Austin, Denton, Dallas, Frisco and now Plano! Each location gave me more and more insight and experience.

I feel extremely blessed to have been given this calling to help others find the true cause and source of their pain or to even just help optimize their systems! Chiropractic adjustments assist the body in becoming more efficient at handling all our daily stressors. Do you wish your body would be more efficient or optimize the stress you deal with on a daily basis? Or maybe you’re looking to increase your effectiveness in the gym, be more focused, have more energy, sleep better, or just feel better! Come to HealthWorks! I am so excited and blessed to be on this team!

Let us help you get to the real reason/s you’re hurting or not feeling well or just not feeling yourself. We’re here to help!

Have you ever felt like your body was holding you back from living the life you want? Whether it’s daily discomfort, limited mobility, or just feeling out of sync, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to settle for it.

Growing up with chronic pain, I saw firsthand how powerful it can be to feel truly aligned, both physically and mentally, through chiropractic care. That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to helping people of all ages move better, feel better, and reclaim the life they deserve through chiropractic care. I’m a Mansfield native and after graduating from high school in 2019, I attended the University of Arkansas to pursue a degree in kinesiology. Although I had experienced the amazing results of routine chiropractic care, it wasn’t until a class presentation by a chiropractic college that I realized being a chiropractor could be my reality. Inspired by the potential to make a real difference in people’s health and wellness, I decided to pivot my career path. After two years at the U of A, I moved back home to the DFW area in 2021 to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree while concurrently earning a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy. After graduating from Parker in early December of 2024, I started on my journey to find the best place to help me grow and come into my own. Being able to start my career here at HealthWorks allows me limitless learning experience under our amazing doctors and robust supporting staff. My goal has always been to support people from the start of their health journey, not just as a last resort. That’s why our core value, “We do what it takes,” resonates with me. We care about you as a whole person, not just your symptoms, and we’re committed to doing everything we can to help you feel like yourself again. We take the time to understand your unique needs and work together to create a personalized plan that gets to the root of the issue. Your health and well-being are our top priority, and we’ll be with you every step of the way. Chiropractic care has given me the opportunity to combine my love for health and wellness with hands-on care, helping people of all ages move better, feel better, and live the lives they want to. We only get one body in our lifetime, so it’s only right we treat ourselves with the utmost respect by creating healthy habits, and chiropractic care should definitely be on your list! I’m excited to serve this community and make a positive impact, so schedule now and get ahead of what’s holding you back.
