Nutritional Consultation & Support
You are what you eat
Turns out, it’s true! This old saying holds a lot of truth; the nutrients we receive from food and supplements are vital for health. If we give our bodies the raw building blocks necessary for healthy function, our nerve systems can use these nutrients to keep us strong and active. While the need to “eat right” this isn’t breaking news for any of us, the application is sometimes surprisingly confusing.
As a nation, we eat poor-quality foods that have been stripped of nutrients. We do not consume enough fresh fruits and vegetables; to complicate things even further, research is showing that the fruits and vegetables grown in today’s depleted soils have just a fraction of needed vitamins and minerals. Additionally, we eat a tremendous amount of prepackaged, pre-made meals. Americans are overfed and undernourished.
To further complicate our nutrition situation, alarmingly high numbers of adults and children are being diagnosed with crippling food allergies. An undiagnosed food allergy can often be a hidden cause of sickness.
There is good news: under the right conditions, our human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. When our nerve system is functioning at 100% and our body is given the right nutrients, healing is almost guaranteed.
Nutritional Protocol: Analysis
Just like each person is different, each process of analysis is a little different. We start each patient out on a four-point analysis:
- 7-day food diary
- Comprehensive symptom survey
- History & consultation with the doctor
- Blood, saliva, or hair analysis as necessary
Nutritional Protocol: Recommendations
Our next step is to prescribe specific, time-tested and proven, highest-possible quality nutritional formulas to fill in the gaps that our analysis has revealed. This is combined with simple diet changes are powerful tools moving patients towards wellness.
When we work out a highly personalized nutritional supplement schedule, we have accomplished the most important first step in correcting the underlying deficiency or imbalance that caused the reflex to be active in the first place. By following the program as precisely as possible, you are well on your way to restoring normal function and improving your health.
Follow-Up & Continued Care:
For some patients, a simple follow up will be all that is necessary. For others, the process of nutritional care is ongoing for months or years. It all depends on YOU: your body’s condition, your body’s response to care, and what your specific health goals are. With each new step, we add or subtract from your initial protocol depending on the pace of your recovery to health.
It’s that simple! In medicine, the medical doctor makes a diagnosis and then uses drugs or surgery to attack or suppress the symptom, or to surgically remove the “offending” organ or part.
We use designed clinical nutrition to correct the cause of the problem, so that the body can regain the ability to correct itself.
